Is Gust + Sky Drop a good combo in Double battles?

Question

Gust's power would be doubled against a lifted target, while Sky Drop renders it immobile for a turn.
Or Gust is too weak to make a combo at all?

Gust wouldn't do much as it's too weak but hurricane can work. But this also leaves the Pokemon using hurricane wide open. But if you can use it on turn predicting the other Pokemon to use protect, this can be used successfully as hurricane doubles in power and plus sky drops damage can KO Pokemon that don't resist flying. And another risk you face is if hurricane misses it's pointless.
