I just got a Shiny Trevenant from trade! What's more, it's Careful nature with 5IVs! It had an awkward EV spread, so I used a Reset Bag. I'm not sure if ChestoRest is viable, and if it is, can someone please tell me what EV spread I should use.

Trevenant @ Chesto Berry
EVs - ???
Nature - Careful
Ability - Harvest

Moves-
-Horn Leech
-Leech Seed
-Rest
-Will-O-Wisp

I didn't get a shiny sprite lol.

This set is very usable, many people DO use it as well. The main problem with this set is that, unlike the sitrus berry sets, you actually have to use a turn to heal yourself.
Flaws in this set include the above statement and the fact that it is better to run Shadow Claw over Leech Seed on such sets, as most of the time you can competely heal yourself with Rest.

Lum is the superior choice. While Chesto won't get wasted on a different status, Harvest has a good chance to restore the Lum, making it useful for both ridding status while not wasting a turn as well as helping you Rest off your damage.

Natural Cure can also be used instead of harvest, although then switching out becomes a necessity to get rid of the sleep condition.

Hope I helped!

What about the EV spread?
252 SpD/252 HP/ 4Att, Careful nature (+SpD -SpA)
Thanks!
It's more commonly a Lun set not restochesto
I figured that if you run a Lum Berry, it can get wasted by Paralysis or Burn or Poison, but when you use rest, the status condition goes automatically.
Actually, Lum is a superior choice, as you harvest it in times of need and Rest won't be your only way of getting rid if status.
The time you don't use it tho, you can Rest up and use the Lum to recover from sleep. I'll edit that in right away  P:

![Shiny Trevenant][1]

If you insist on a ChestoRest Trevenant then...

Trevenant@Chesto Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 ATK, 128 DEF, 128 SP.DEF
Nature: Brave (+ATK, -SPE)
Characteristic: Likes to thrash about (+ATK, 31IVs)
Moveset:

  1. Rest - Restore all health without wasting a turn(s) sleeping because of a Chesto Berry which can be harvested [30%].

  2. Will-O-Wisp - Damages the opponent even when a turn is spent resting, also reduces the opponents attack stat by 50% enabling Trevenant to take more and bigger hits.

  3. Wood Hammer - Extremely powerful STAB grass attack, recoil damage doesn't matter that much because of the ChestoRest combination.

  4. Shadow Claw - Powerful STAB ghost move with a high critical-hit ratio (1/8).

I suggest having him/her on a Trick Room team so you can invest IVs and EVs in ATK rather than HP.

![Shiny Trevenant][2]

If you want Trevenant on a normal team, however, then...

Trevenant@Chesto Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 HP, 252 DEF, 4 ATK
Nature: Impish (+DEF, -SP.ATK)
Characteristic: Capable of taking hits (+DEF, 31IVs)
Moveset:

  3. Horn Leech - Powerful STAB grass attack that further restores HP.

  4. Shadow Claw - Powerful STAB ghost move with a high critical-hit ratio (1/8).

![Shiny Trevenant][3]

A Sitrus Berry and Leech Seed combination will not waste moves by resting; in addition it damages the opponent.

Trevenant@Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 252 ATK, 128 HP, 128 DEF
Nature: Adamant (+ATK, -SP.ATK)
Characteristic: Capable of taking hits (+DEF, 31IVs)
Moveset:

  1. Leech Seed - 1/18th of the opponent health is drained and absorbed by Trevenant, damaging them whilst healing you every turn.

  2. Will-O-Wisp - Damages the opponent even when a turn is spent resting, also reduces the opponents attack stat by 50% enabling Trevenant to take more and bigger hits.

  3. Horn Leech - Powerful STAB grass attack that further restores HP.

  4. Shadow Claw - Powerful STAB ghost move with a high critical-hit ratio (1/8).

That last set isn't Chesto-rest.
The last Trevenant isn't supposed to have the ChestoRest combination, it is just another option suggested by myself.
Didn't see the above text :P
