Why does my pkmn name change?

when in wifi battles my pkmn changes its name back to the original idk why

It's not a glitch because the same happens to me. And nicknames work fine in PSS battles, tho the names get reverted in battle spot.

Its probably because some people name their
pokemon innappropriate things.

Yeah and as Battle Spot is not limited to a region, some words might offend others although not offensive in their own language

In Battle Spot your Pokemon names revert back to their original names, only in wifi battles do nicknames work..
That's how it is.
