Can magic bounce bounce back perish song?

Question

Perish song affects every Pokemon on the field, but it is a status move, so will magic bounce make your Pokemon unaffected to perish song?

The Perish Song still works.

Source: I tested it on Showdown, but the battle replays aren't working.

My theory is that since magic bounce's user "uses" the move rather than getting affected by it, it still uses perish song.. wich still works for all pokemon on "stage".
