How does Pokemon Bank Work?

I need help. My Free trial is over, and I have some Pokemon I have migrated and caught. In theory( or in real life if you can help) could I trade over 5th gen, have someone else transfer and bank, and then trade back to me? Thanks, if my question is unclear Ask me to clear it up!

Yes, that's entirely possible to do.
If you have a friend who has the 5th gen game as well, as well as Pokemon bank and a 6th gen game you can trade over 5th gen, have them transfer and use Pokemon bank and trade back to you no 6th gen games you can definitely do that.
