How is the regional pattern for Vivillon determined in the Friend Safari?

Question

Is the regional pattern of a friend safari Vivillion determined by the person with the friend safari or the person using it?

For example, if I, a player in the Polar Vivillon region, exchanged friend codes with a player from the Savannah Region who had Vivillon in his friend safari, would the Vivillon I encounter in my friend safari have the Polar or Savannah pattern?

I think it'll be your regional pattern (In your example, Polar then)

While I can't give one of those common, credible sources like Serebii or Bulbapedia, since they say jack about this, I've been flicking over various other forum sites and stuff. I can't find anything about people saying that they have a specific kind of Vivillion in their Safari, and a couple of the forums;
