Does this line have any effect in battle?

Question

I had just recently gotten my Frogadier to 4 hearts, and when it's health goes into the red, it says:

*"It look's like Frogadier's in a pinch. It looks like it might cry..."*

Does this have any in-game effect, or is it just cosmetic?

(Also, if you could give me a link to the different amie-linked lines and how they're triggered, that'd mean a lot. :D)

It means its health is low and if you use a healing item it will say"pokemon's name is thrilled to bits!" or something like that its cosmetic for the most part.

This line is said whenever your Frogadier's HP is red.
