What will happen if another Pokemon thats not arceus uses multitype?

I got abquestion. If we say that I hack a Pokemon thats not arceus with multityoe. We use Pikachu as a example. I equip Pikachu with Zap Plate. I take it in a battle what happens? Does the color change or nothing happens you game crashes. Please answer with corr3ct answer.

Nothing happens because it is not programmed in the game.
