Does Pokemon Amie raise friendliness in addition to affection?

I need to teach Zekrom and Palkia Draco Meteor. Will playing with them in Pokemon Amie make them more friendly? If not, which are the fastest ways I can raise their friendliness?

Actually certain methods in Pokémon Amie can increase Friendship.

"Although Pokémon-Amie can increase the friendship, it and affection are separate values and having five hearts is not considered maximized friendship, as levelling up with five hearts does not necessarily evolve Pokémon that require high friendship."

Things that increase and decrease the friendship value of a Pokémon in Generation VI:

Increase:

Walking 128 steps
Massage in Cyllage City
Using vitamins
Level up
Soothing Bag from Super Training
Pokemon-Amie
Using EV-lowering Berries*

Decrease:

Fainting
Trading- Resets to base friendship

*These include Pomeg Berry, Kelpsy Berry, Qualot Berry, Hondew Berry, Grepa Berry, and Tamato Berry

No, affection and happiness are two different mechanics. To improve happiness, you should:

• Walk 128 steps
• Massage your Pokemon in Cyllage City
• Make your Pokemon use vitamins (HP Up, Protein, Iron, Calcium, Zinc and Carbos
• Level up your Pokemon use the Soothing Bag in Super Training
• Use either the Pomeg, Kelpsy, Qualot, Hondew, Grepa or the Tamato Berry. (EV lowering berries)
• Have your Pokemon hold the Soothe Bell
