Darmanitan in Pokemon X?

Question

I have a Darmanitan, lvl 41 with the sheer force ability (zen mode hidden ability). This website says that this Pokemon has a "zen mode" ability. I have Pokemon X, and so far, every time he's under 50% nothing happens. No form change. I could be in the wild, in the battling trainers, whatever - he just wont change into zen mode. Should I save my battle points and get an ability changer? (I forget the exact name). Will that actually work?

Well the thing is Sheer Force is the normal ability, it won't change to zen mode unless it has the actual Zen Mode ability, so I sugjest to trade for a zen mode darmanitan, because the ability capsule only switches normal abilities and not hidden ones

Pokémon can only have one Ability, so if your Darmanitan has Sheer Force, it cannot have Zen Mode as well so that's why it won't change form.

You cannot use the Ability Capsule to chance Darmanitan's Ability from Sheer Force to Zen Mode because Zen Mode is it's Hidden Ability. The Ability Capsule does not work on species that only have one standard Ability, and it will not enable a Pokémon to change to or from a Hidden Ability.

The only way to get a Darmanitan with Zen Mode in Pokémon X and Y is if you trade for one or transfer one over from Pokémon Black, White, Black 2 or White 2 using Pokémon Bank.
