I think this allowed, but if it's not, lemme know and I'll hide it.

I'm forging a team for X and Y, and I need a Fighting-type Sweeper. Sadly, Lucario is out of the question, as I already have two Steel-types on my team. No Mega's either, I already got one. Thanks for your help.

No. Anything works.
Well then use Terrakion!
That works. If I can ever get Pokebank.
And while they're not "out of the question" they're not preferred.
Then use blaziken for now. Make sure it has protect for free speed boost

I would suggest Blaziken.

It's still a beast when not Mega, with a nice attack stat, great offensive typing, speed boost, and impressive STABs in High Jump Kick and Flare Blitz. It can also boost up with Swords Dance, making it even more terrifying.

My suggested set would be:

  • Protect
  • Swords Dance
  • High Jump Kick
  • Flare Blitz

With Leftovers as an Item.

You can get a Speed Boost Torchic from Mystery Gift until January 15, so hurry!

Adamant, 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 HP?
Yeah. Adamant.
Perfect. I can use the Blaziken from my other team. =D

I assume you don't want Chesnaught, so I'll give you a suggestion you might like:

Scarfty
Scrafty gets a sizable movepool which includes moves among Hi Jump Kick, Brick Break, Crunch, Payback, Stone Edge, Dragon Claw, Posion Jab (for those pesky Fairys >:0), Power Up Punch, and Bulk Up. I suggest a set of Bulk Up, Hi Jump Kick, Crunch, Dragon Claw.

Dragon Claw is from a TM which you can find in Victory Road, Bulk Up can be found in Snowbelle City, HJK is level up for Scraggy at level 31, and Crunch can be taught via move relearner.

You can twerk (tweak) the set anyway you want.

Hope I helped, even just a little!

Thanks! Not exactly what I'd consider a 'Sweeper,' but thanks.
You don't consider a Bulk Up Scrafty a sweeper? Also, this was in game so I just suggested moves. No natures, no EVs, no items, just simple moves.
No it's not that, he's just really slow.
But it still earned my upvote.
I would've suggested Dragon Dance, but it is hard to get. Thanks for the vote though!

I would recommend Mienshao.

Mienshao

Mienshao has a 125 Base Attack, a 95 Base Special Attack and a 105 Base Speed. It is a perfect choice for a Sweeper. It's Move Pool isn't too bad too and each of it's Abilities are amazing (Inner Focus, Regenerator and Reckless).

You can get Mienshao by evolving a Mienfoo at Level 50. Mienfoo can be found at Route 8 in Pokémon X and Y. Trainer's tip: You'll encounter it quicker if you search for it in the Yellow Flowers instead of the Grass.

Suggested Move Sets:

Mienshao (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Regenerator
Nature: Jolly
EV's: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Special Defence
Moves:
-High Jump Kick (STAB)
-U-turn (Switch out, also hits Psychic types)
-Stone Edge (Hits Flying types)
-Poison Jab (Hits Fairy types)

Or

Mienshao (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Regenerator/ Reckless
Nature: Jolly
EV's 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Special Defence
Moves: Same as above
Only difference is because you don't have Life Orb, Regenerator isn't really required. Therefore you can decide whether to have Reckless as an Ability so if you miss High Jump Kick you won't lose 50% of your HP. Also speed is increased thanks to Choice Scarf.

Choice Scarf doesn't double speed, it multiplies it by it by 1.5. :)
Cheers for commenting so I could edit this answer JarJar if you hadn't pointed it out I wouldn't of noticed it :). Was supposed to say speed is boosted by 50% thanks to choice scarf but I was kind of in a rush to finish it :P

Well, after Lucario I would go for a jolly regenerater meinshao with 252 speed 252 attack EV, and make sure it's characteristic likes to thrash about or is alert to sounds!
It has high speed and attack, access to stone edge, u-turn, acrobatics, swords dance and high jump kick. I know that is 5, get rid of the one you don't want.

Just breed for a 5IV Meinshao 31/31/31/x/31/31 :P

I have several I could suggest. The first one is sawk.
Sawk
He is a pretty fast Pokemon, and can take almost everything down I it is below 70 percent of its HP. Recommended moveset:

Close Combat

Stone edge

Earthquake

Retaliate

The second one would be Blaziken.
Blaziken

He is also quite fast, and easy to get. (Only if you have internet connection though). He will also have the hidden ability speed boost, which raises his speed. Recommended moveset:

Blaze kick

Flare blitz (For those a bit harder to defeat)

Brave bird

Sky Uppercut

Then there's Hawlucha, who is VERY fast.

Recommended moveset:

Flying press

Acrobatics

Swords dance

U-turn

And the last one is Pangoro.
http://pokemondb.net/pokedex/pangoro (Couldn't find sprite either)

Not very fast, but extremely bulky. Pangoro can take almost any hit. (Just watch out for fairy types, though) Recommended moveset:

Hammer arm

Facade

Giga impact

Shadow claw (For fairy types)
