Why do friends in PSS keep sending me Hatching O-Power?

Question

I don't mind friends sending items and such, but people keep sending me Hatching O-Power? I don't have anything that needs to hatch. Am I missing some importance of this O-Power? How can I stop it from being sent? If I have to is there a way to stop O-Powers from being sent altogether? All help appreciated.

I believe that O-Powers can be leveled up if you use them a lot. I think the O-Power costs less to use when you give it to your friends rather than using it on yourself. Your friends are just trying to level up their O-Powers in the most efficient way possible.
Because that's what friendship is for.
