There's a thing on X and Y that let's you interact with online players around the world, as long as they are registered in your Pal Pad. Where do I get one?
Theres ins't a Pal Pad on X and Y. What you have to do is register someone's 3DS Friend Code into your 3DS from the menu screen when you first start your DS. Once they register you into their 3DS you two will be in your X and Y copy of PSS.
You don't, However you also do not need it. As soon as you get your Pokemon you are able to use all the wireless and internet features including seeing other passing players and the GTS.
