How "rare" are the X&Y editions of the 3DS?

As the title says, I want to buy the X&Y edition of the 3DS, but I want to know if I should buy it right away before they're out of stock, or if I'm able to wait a while before buying it without it being out of stock.

I remember the Animal Crossing 3DS bundle was sold out in like a day, because there were so little made, do I have to worry about the same problem for this one?

I would wait, as when X and Y come out there will probably be a bundle for the Limited Edition 3DS that includes the games. If you already pre-ordered the game then you could go ahead and buy these now. You better make your decision fast though as they will go fast.
