I have been using GTS on white 2 and I was wondering if it costs money?

Thank you very much but is using the Wi-Fi free as well.
Wi-Fi inherently costs money, but it does not cost any extra to use the Wi-Fi here.
So then trading with someone from say japan on my D's won't cost lots then
Yeah. Wi-fi is free, but you will need to buy a router and all that stuff.
