Incase you don't know a burn halves your attack stat so I was wondering If a burn would have any affect on a Pokemon with Hyper Cutter Would the burn fail? would the Pokemon take damage from the burn but Its attack will be normal? Thanks for your

It would be burned, and its attack would fall. I tested it out with a flame orb. It says it's attack is not lowered by enemy-inflicted stat lowering, while burn can be self inflicted, and it is not a stat lowering. I hope this helps! -Jellohamster
