How do I find out my Secret ID in Pokemon Black 2?

And what is it used for?

Some people have told me I need a shiny or something to work it out - but I don't have one :/
Is there any other way to work it out?

I suppose I'll just have to try and catch as shiny then xD

So yes, you kind of do need a Shiny Pokemon. But as they said, it's supposed to be a secret.
