If you use Gyro Ball in Trick Room, does the power still increase if you are slower than your opponent but move first?

Question

Go this from someone wanting to use Power Trick Shuckle in TR, and wanted to know if he should have Gyro Ball. Peaked my interest.

Base Power = 25 × (Target's Current Speed / User's Current Speed)

Trick room works much like priority. It doesn't affect the speed of the Pokemon, which is what Gyro Ball gets it's power from, but it makes the slower one go first. Since it doesn't affect the speed Gyro Ball will do the same power in or out of Trick Room.

If Trick room is in effect, the damage of Gyro ball will be the same power of using it without trick room in effect. I hope this helps! -Jellohamster
