For one I would say vaporean (probably misspelled)

this is what I got:
Vaporean @destiny knot
Trait: Hydration
Nature: Quirky (neutral)
EVs: 252 hp 252 SpA 4 Speed

-Ice beam
-Shadow Ball
-Rest
-Acid Armor

now this can be really annoying as with rest + hydration can heal you to full and wake you up instantly due to the rain. Acid armor is for boosting you defense and Ice beam is for coverage. Shadow ball I put there for physic and Ghost coverage but it could be changed to another move for more coverage and the destiny knot is just in case your opponent gets rid of the rain temporary and they try to paralyze you (thus paralyzing themselves)

Hope I helped :)

Water type Pokemon such as Gyarados and Starmie are great Ideas as their STABs are boosted. Electric types such a Jolteon are also good because they can use thunder which is better than T-bolt and has perfect accuracy in the rain. One other idea is to put in a steel type such as ferrothorn or jirachi as their main weakness is halved in the rain, fire. There are also various abilities such as hydration and dry skin that benefit form the rain. One Pokemon I love to use to abuse the rain is Dragonite.

Dragonite @ Leftovers
Trait: Multiscale
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Hurricane (Perfect accuracy in the rain)
- Thunder (Also perfect accuracy)
- Draco Meteor (STAB)
- Roost

You can use my rain team as something to go off of. Click Here.

Toxicroak is my favorite rain team Pokemon.

I know what your probably thinking, but trust me. This thing is the most deadliest sweeper and its bulk can make it last the whole battle. Here is my favorite set:

Toxicroak @ Black Sludge
Trait: Dry Skin
EVs: 244 HP / 132 Atk / 82 Def / 50 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Drain Punch
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute

As soon as you send this thing in, use substitute. Thanks to the black sludge and dry skin in rain, it will heal almost 1/5 of your health, making the sub cost nothing. After that, do about 2-3 bulk ups if you can (if not, do one), and go for the drain punch. Using drain punch + the health bonuses from black sludge and dry skin, the opponents attacks will be nothing. Also, keep setting your substitute, you'll heal most of it off, and will just annoy the opponent. Sucker punch for ghost types, or for deadly threatening sweepers like latios. Finally, the defense boost from bulk up gives it the bulk it needs. I usually win four matches in a row before losing one, and most of them are like 4-0 thanks to the toxicroak. I've been using this set for a couple of months, and you won't regret it.!
