Will a Pokemon's stats differ if you make them evolve late?

Question

For example:

Say I have servine and at level 36 I decide not to evolve it and at some really late level I evolve it.
Will the serperior's stats be different to the ones it could have had if it evolved at level 36?

I know it seems confusing but I was just wondering.

Your Servine would get the same points if you evovle it at level 40 as when you evolve it in lv 36.
