And, are you expecting Pokemaster to do all the work on this site? Hiding, removing flags, converting to comments, banning, kicking? All of that is grunt work. Pokemaster does indeed own the site, meaning his time here is spent on improving the site. Pokemaster knows that he doesn't have the time for all that is needed to properly maintain a community, so he relegates the task to the moderators, which I am. So while Pokemaster isn't the one telling you to not necro-post, the person he gave the powers to tell you not to necro-post is telling you not to necro-post.
It should also be noted that since your necro-posting has brought this question back into the spotlight, we had a person answer this question. Why we don't allow necro-posting.
