What do I do now in Emerald???

Question

I just got to Sootopolis City and I have no idea what to do I can't challenge the gym and there is no battle between Groundon and Krogue do I talk to someone or something else?

Guys, I have this.

Anyway, let me assume that you have Blazekin, because that 7th gym is easy for people wih Sceptile and Swampert, due to most of their Pokemon being ground or rock types.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do not believe you have to beat the 7th gym for team magma to appear at the rocket station, so if I'm right, do that to continue the sotryline and level up your pokes.

One last thing I suggest is to go around the sea challenging trainers. Most will have water Pokemon (It'll be a challenge if you do have that Blazekin) so if Im right, that will help Exp wise.

Btw after you beat Magma, Aqua will take the sub and when you defeat the gym, you can go underwater to Kyogre's cavern, and that will trigger kyogre & groudon battling.

Did you go inside the Cave of Origin?
If not, go talk to Steve or whatever that guy's name was, and you will go inside to meet somebody (forget who), than you will need to go call Rayquaza to get Kyogre and Groudon to stop fighting.

To get to the Sky Pillar (which is where Rayquaza is located); you need to Fly to Pacifidlog Town and use Surf to the east of town just a little, and hug the top of the route, and you will see the entrance to Sky Pillar.
Go through the little bike puzzle(?) and at the top, talk to Rayquaza to wake him up.
Waking him up will get him to fly over to Sootopolis to stop the two legendaries from fighting.

Hopefully that is the part you are up to? If not, you need to provide more information as to what part you are on.

• EDIT: Oh wait, there is NO battle between Kyogre and Groudon? (Sorry read it wrong)
  How many badges do you have right now?

• EDIT: Have you been inside Team Aqua's cave and did you beat Archie at the end of it? If you go to Slateport City, you will of found out that Team Aqua has stolen a submarine, and you need to go find it in order to find their base. I am regretfully sorry I forget where it was, but you need to find a diving spot in order to reach it.
