I think he has potential, underused if abused by fire types in the future(and sandstorm teams, very common), but overused in any weather team, his high attack, defences, and health, works great with trick room, or swift swim, and superpower/brick break deals with nearly all his weaknesses other than fire.
But still borderline if you look between the two lines
How doesn't this thing get Ice Shard?! It would have went nice with Swords Dance, Aqua Jet, and Brkck Break. And its pure Ice typing really kills his potential too.But wait until his DW ability is released, this guy will be something to fear.

Gen 8 NU

Beartic @ Choice Band
Ability: Slush Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Superpower
- Liquidation
- Throat Chop

To be used on a hail team. I'm kind of suprised no one posted a Choice Band set yet. Choice Band gives you immediate power to your base 130 attack. Icicle Crash is for ice STAB that has a chance to flinch. Superpower provides coverage against Pokemon like Copperajah, Snorlax, and chips Escavalier as it switches in. Liquidation is for coverage against Salazzle and Talonflame, as well as allowing you to 2HKO Diancie. Throat Chop allows you to 2HKO Bronzong.

This guy is a pretty decent tank!

Beartic @ Leftovers
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 128 Atk / 252 Def / 128 SpD
Sassy Nature
- Avalanche
- Substitute
- Focus Punch
- Aqua Jet

Avalanche- You need to use Beartic's awful speed to really devastate your opponent and that is what Avalanche does(STAB.).

Substitute- Leftovers and speed abuse.

Focus Punch- This guy can pull off a flawless Focus Punch. Another truly devastating tactic.

Aqua Jet- For the ever-so-common fire and rock types.

Being slow is this guy's secret weapon so give him a Sassy nature.

Super Doubles Or Competitive Doubles (Pokemon OR/AS, S/M, US/UM, Sword Or Shield)

Beartic @ Life Orb
Ability: Slush Rush (Boosts the Pokémon's Speed stat in a hailstorm)
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Icicle Crash
- Stone Edge
- Aqua Jet

This move-set is for hail beginning duo with Alolan Ninetails that has Snow Warning (HA), (bringing hail) plus aurora veil which boots ally team and hail, making all ice hits 100% accurate such as blizzard. Including Beartic Slush Run it boosts its speed even more with its 252 speed EV and its 6 IV BEST speed. Sword dance raises its attack so it hits strong plus life orb which makes the move even more potent. Icicle crash is for STAB, stone edge for coverage and aqua jet just for the annoying fire types that can k.o therefore, aqua jet always goes first at the beginning the first round able to go at every round first. So, this duo is the most excellent duo you can get in Pokemon as in my perspective.

Please don't hesitate to ask me for the full team I have in stock for you guys, adding Alolan Ninetails, Garchomp, and Alolan Muk to the duo. Also, I will teach breeding for 6 IV or 5 IV Pokemon and EV training if people need guidance in that.

Enjoy :)

Why can't this thing learn Earthquake

Role: Physical Sweeper

Beartic @ Life Orb
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Sp
Adamant Nature
- Hail
- Hone Claws
- Icicle Crash
- Bulldoze / Aqua Jet

Moves:
Hail: Increases Beartic's evasion by 20%. It also deals damage to all non-Ice type Pokemon (with a few exceptions).
Hone Claws: Increases Accuracy and Attack by one stage
Icicle Crash: It may not have the best Accuracy, but it has higher power than Ice Punch. The accuracy can be increased by Hone Claws.
Bulldoze or Aqua Jet: Bulldoze lowers the speed of the opponent, which can make up for Beartic's low speed. It also covers 3 of Beartic's weaknesses. Aqua Jet covers only 2 weaknesses, and is a little weaker, but has priority. This also can help with Beartic's Low speed.

When Beartic can finally learn Earthquake, I will be so happy...

I would say slush rush>snow cloak
Yeah, but Beartic's speed is really bad lol.
50 speed becomes 100 with slush rush. 100 is pretty good
Well I guess.

Gen 8 ZU

Beartic @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Slush Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Liquidation
- Aqua Jet
- Swords Dance

To be used in Hail so Beartic can have double speed. Icicle Crash is STAB. Liquidation deals with fire types. Aqua Jet is for revenge killing. Swords Dance is to boost your attack

Beartic (M) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Slush Rush
Adamant Nature
EVs: 76 HP / 36 Atk / 76 Def / 92 SpA / 108 SpD / 120 Spe
Timid Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Play Rough
- Liquidation
- Stone Edge

Heavy-Duty Boots protects it from entry hazards. Icicle Crash has flinching power and Frost Breath always makes a critical hit which makes 60 power to 90 (These moves are also STAB which make it more powerful. Play Rough covers up Fighting and may lower Attack. Liquidation may lower Defense. Stone Edge has a high critical hit ratio with a 1/8 chance. One problem is Stone Edge is not STAB. Bulldoze almost covers up everything and lowers Speed stats of those who hit.

You’re recommending some special moves on an adamant physical sweeper set with a Pokémon with poor Special Attack. Razor Claw isn’t viable, especially if you have one attack with a high crit rate that isn’t even STAB.
92 Special Attack EVs and a Timid Nature with no special attacks? What's with the bizarre EV spread?
You literally put both Adamant and Timid there

Gen 8 NU

Beartic @ Heavy-Duty Boots / Life Orb
Ability: Slush Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Icicle Crash
- Low Kick
- Throat Chop

With hail being reintroduced into the NU meta, Bewear is a niche pick for a hail abuser. Jolly Nature is used over Adamant Nature so you can outspeed Choice Scarf Passimian while hail is up. Swords Dance is to boost the power of your attacks. Icicle Crash is for Ice STAB. Low Kick targets Copperajah and Snorlax. Throat Chop allows you to setup on Hyper Voice Sylveon and also deals super effective damage to Bronzong. Heavy Duty Boots is used so you won't take damage from Stealth Rock. Life Orb is an option to add extra damage output and should be used on hail balance so you can make sure you have hazard control.

Gen 9 NU Swords Dance

Beartic @ Life Orb
Ability: Slush Rush
Tera Type: Fighting
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Icicle Crash
- Close Combat
- Earthquake / Aqua Jet

This Swords Dance set should be used on Snow teams in Gen 9 NU. Swords Dance boosts Beartic's already high attack to make it a scary threat under Snow. Icicle Crash is Beartic's strongest Ice STAB that has a chance to flinch opposing Pokemon. Beartic has access to Close Combat in Gen 9, giving Beartic a more reliable Figting move to hit Pokemon such Glastrier, Avalugg, Copperajah, opposing Beartic, Coalossal, Orthworm, Alolan Sandslash, and Piloswine super effectively. Having Ice + Fighting coverage is really nice for Beartic, as not a lot of Pokemon resist that combo. Earthquake allows Beartic to hit Pokemon such as Qwilfish and Salazzle super effectively, as well as being able to hit Coalossal without risking the burn from Flame Body. Aqua Jet can be used to allow Beartic to have a priority move to hit faster Pokemon in and outside of snow. Life Orb gives power to Beartic's attacks. Tera Fighting is used as the Tera to make Close Combat a STAB move. Adamant Nature is used to make Beartic's attacks power since Jolly doesn't let Beartic hit any notable speed benchmarks.

Abomasnow is a mandatory teammate, as it sets up Snow to give Beartic a +1 Defense boost and activate Slush Rush. Abomasnow can also setup Aurora Veil to help Beartic setup. Eject Button Hattrem is a good teammate to deny hazards and potentially help get Beartic in via Eject Button. Hattrem also provides Healing Wish support. Fighting checks such Gligar and Qwilfish are nice to be able to switch into Fighting-types such as Heracross and Tauros-Paldea-Blaze.

Gen 9 RU Rain Team Bear

Beartic @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 HP / 252 Spe
Tera: Water
Jolly / Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Liquidation
- Trailblaze / Aqua Jet / Shadow Claw
- Close Combat

Honestly not a bad mon for RU rain teams (RU because only 3 mons get drizzle, and Beartic is not OU or Uber level). Swift Swim doubles your Speed in rain, which lets Beartic become a sweeper. Tera Water to negate your Fire / Steel weakness and get STAB in Water-type attacks. Jolly for a bit more Speed just in case you need it after rain or Adamant for a hard hitting bear. Icicle Crash for STAB and negates Grass weaknesses. Liquidation for coverage, STAB when you Tera, and rain boosted. Now Trailblaze boost your Speed, which helps Beartic get on track and become even faster, but Aqua Jet is boosted priority and Shadow Claw has high crit ratio. Close Combat is a good move with only lowing your defense, which in general isn't going to affect Beartic that much.

What Beartic Brings in Rain Teams
- Coverage against Grass
- Fast sweeper

Hope you enjoy this set!
