the odds of finding a level 100 magikarp in the resort area is 1/10,000

but with if you use a Pokemon with pressure, vital spirit or hustle in the top left of your party then the chances are 1/200

these abilities have secret outside of battle affects that make higher level wild Pokemon appear.
