Encore does not work against Encore itself, Mimic, Mirror Move, Sketch, Struggle or Transform.
Changes
- In Generations 2-3 and Diamond/Pearl, it lasts for 2-6 turns. In Platinum/HeartGold/SoulSilver it lasts for 3-7 turns.
Z-Move effects
When a Pokémon is holding Normalium Z and uses its Z-Power, Encore turns into Z-Encore and raises Speed one stage, in addition to its usual effect as above.
