Well, starting things off, all of the eeveelutions have different roles. Flareon is considered the weakest eeveelution because of its terrible move pool, but in certain situations it can be a great sweeper. So, onto the comparison.

*-Great speed and special attack, making it a pretty solid sweeper.*
*-Magic Bounce is a great ability, allowing it to bounce back entry hazards and status to the opposing team.*
*-Has good coverage options like Dazzling Gleam and Shadow Ball (Hidden Power is gone, unfortunately).*
*-Psychic is a decent typing, with a weakness to Ghost, Bug, and Dark, and a Psychic move hits Poison and Fighting types super effectively.*
*-It’s base stats are 65 HP, 65 Atk, 60 Def, 130 SpAtk, 95 SpDef, and 110 Spe.*

*-Can make a great special tank with 95 base HP and 130 base SpDef. It can also hit hard with base 110 SpAtk with Pixilate + Pixie Plate + Hyper Voice.*
*-A great counter to Dragon types, though Dragon types usually carry a poison or steel move, so be careful.*
*-With Calm Mind it can be a real pain, since it’ll be able to tank anything special and hit hard back.*
*-Pixilate is an amazing ability, and when paired with Hyper Voice and a Pixie Plate it can sweep (kinda. It’s speed is bad.).*
*-Also does great with Leftovers and stalling moves (still usually carries Pixilate and Hyper Voice on a set like that).*
*-Base stats are 95 HP, 65 Atk, 65 Def, 110 SpAtk, 130 SpDef, and 60 Spe.*
