Thanks! And yeah ladder for any AG gen is pretty bad with BP, Viv, Smeargle and stall around lol, you'll have to cope with it. In one of my earlier runs, I got out the timezones of the people who laddered with me and I chose either my days or nights when they were asleep (lol!), so after 1800 I never got any trash user. But in my more recent runs where I didn't use tz's, I tried to play out if I'm matched up with any bs and if it worked, hownice, if it doesn't forfeit. Saves time. Also Goggles Ho-Oh is pretty nice for ladder.
Yeah most good people participate in the high-end tours. Those do take time, you can get in if you're ever free though, nice exposure.

I hope things are getting better for you, too, my guy :) as for me myself: Its a rollercoaster honestly. It ranges from either the best moments ever to breakdown. As for my username, It means nothing. I might change it back to Azureshiwum sometime.
