Found out what the dinosaur movie was: We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story.
The nostalgia is just so weird.

Note to self: Watch Hocus Pocus, see if it triggers childhood memories or if those memories are not in fact memories of reality, but memories of a dream I once had.
Might need to wait until Halloween to watch it.
Also note to self: Find out what that movie was with the dinosaurs that get captured and end up being corrupted.

lol, turns out the tutorial for running the WU deck tells you that you should replace Banisher Priest with Mercurial Pretender, saying that Mercurial Pretender is a better card just because it is a Rare, rather than an uncommon like Banisher Priest. XD
Banisher Priest is removal in creature form, and it exiles a creature for as long as it is in play. Mercurial Pretender is an overpriced clone effect that can only clone your own creatures, which is pretty awful.
Also, there seems to be a weird bug where buff abilities just become ludicrous. My opponent had one mountain open, and they used Furnace Whelp's ability to buff it up to a 52/2.
I've also been getting a fair amount of input lag.
Game is so bad. I hate myself for continuing to play it, but Magic the Gathering is still such an amazing game that I'm withstanding the terribleness of the videogame.

Yep, I was right. It is impossible to unlock all the cards without paying microtransactions. And it isn't just crappy cards locked away by this either. Among the cards only available through microtransactions are Talrand Sky Summoner, Doubling Season, and Kozilek Butcher of Truth. Talrand and Butcher of Truth are both top tier cards. Doubling Season is great in a limited format that has stuff like Triplicate Spirits (as well as any card that makes use of counters, such as Genesis Hydra). I guess we should just be glad that there aren't any super powerful equipments in the game, otherwise, the locking of Stoneforge Mystic behind a paywall would be a major deal, seeing as Stoneforge Mystic is one of the best creatures in all of Magic.
Blatant pay to win aspects, where past games have only been pay to speed things up. I regret spending money on this filth that could've been better spent on drafting or the upcoming prerelease. I won't be picking up the DLC for this game, which is a first since I have bought the DLC for all other Duel of the Planeswalkers titles.

Ugh, Magic the Gathering Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015 is pretty terrible. The UI is the worst of the DotP UIs, it lacks an alternate mode such as Archenemy or Planechase, it has no two-headed giant, no challenge mode, and no revenge campaign. It even still has all the old faults, such as micro-transactions and ads in a paid game. The card count is limited, with only about 300 unique cards, a number of which aren't even playable (Glory Seeker for example, is just a 2/2 for 2 mana, which is awful).
I'm not sure about this, but I believe it might not be possible to unlock all the cards without paying the microtransactions.
I bought in thinking that criticism might have been overstated, as it has been for past DotP titles (people seem to forget that previous titles offered a fair amount of Magic for $10, which is about the price of a single Mana Confluence) but it turns out they just butchered it.
Get DotP 2014, 2013, or 2012 instead. Those are actually good titles.
