Wall for trachy (page 59)

The show with the best directing, best writing, and best acting on television is back. While we aren't learning how magnets work in this midseason opener, we do have the beginning of a game of cat and mouse. And Hank now realizes exactly what he is dealing with here. Also, the script for the best episode of Star Trek ever.

"I used to teach high school history and I can attest to us glossing over the darker history of the US." I'm pretty sure that speaks to your poor teaching quality rather than the state of the US education system.

Metro 2033, Risen, and Sacred Citadel have been added to the Humble Bundle. Again, three games I haven't played. But I've heard 2033 is a very atmospheric linear shooter and that Risen is a decent RPG. Sacred Citadel isn't supposed to be very good though. But still, Saints Row 3+DLC, Risen 1&2, Sacred 2, Dead Island, and Metro 2033? All for $5? Pick it up people, if only just for Saint's Row 3, which I played and is just plain insane.

Expanded top movies to 20. Too many incredible animated movies that I can't believe I ignored.

Glad you liked Civ 4 trach :3

They patched up that sort of game play you were mentioning in Civ 5. There were some holes that were filled and combat became much more entertaining. More combat strategy involved imo.

Worms Revolution. Armageddon was the best game in the Worms series (well, except for Mayhem, but I believe I was the only person in the world who liked that game). Revolution just isn't as good as it or the other Worms games. It doesn't have as much customization or level variety. Lots of the content was sold through DLC. Now I tend not to have a problem with DLC, but in the case of Worms being basically a yearly series now, I have a problem with that, as I would instead they spent an extra year in development improving on the title and adding more content. Water mechanics are fairly lame, and most of the time you'd just end up using the staples of the series (Bazooka, Fire Punch, and Baseball Bat) to do the job instead. Game also runs at an unacceptable framerate for this kind of game. It just doesn't feel all that smooth and polished. 5.9/10

Organ Trail. Yep, a game that is paying homage to the Oregon Trail of old. But with zombies. Organ Trail is essentially a rougelike. Tons of random events, although it still relies a lot on player skill. However, it doesn't as much account for the manipulation of probability, like the random events in a game like FTL does. This is unfortunate. However, if you're good at the shooting part of the game, you can get the food you need to survive. Now the shooting mechanic is broken. It does not work at all the way they intended. However, you easily learn how to make it work. A bit of fun, especially when your best friend dies of dysentery. 7.2/10
