omg I just saw the update! Woot! Yeah, all future tourneys now have a fixed home :D

I did float that idea, but the DB server is dead. I even suggested Tsunami and MechSteelix asked Deso if we could hold it in his server.

Ultimately though, there wasn't too much interest in servers (mainly because the DB one is bust) and the sheer difference in time zones further complicated the matter. Finally, to be honest, I used Challonge only to generate brackets at first, but then it just so happened that we ended up using it for the tourney :\

There's still hope though, because Deso recently put up a thread on the Meta asking for a revival of the DB server, with him in charge, and it was very positively received. All we have to do now is wait for PM to get back from real life matters.

So we might host the future tourneys there (For example, Astro and myself want a randbat tourney for fun between the other themed ones). Be sure to join them! :D
