You're not obliged to select the ba but I'd like to say that the question was specifically for g8, so it wouldn't really change with newer generations; you don't have to worry about the ba being completely random cause I asked another user and they selected the ba after months lol. Though the meta shift might be a solid reason for not selecting, so its completely upto you.

My first username was just for a few days. Then I named myself '-oPsydxck'. Then during last year's name changes I became 'Aaaaaaaaa' and spammed everyone's wall for fun. Then this month's name changes I became 'NOW THATS A LOTTA DAMAGE' and did the same, but then I changed it to my current name.
