Caramelized Onion Tart Recipe

Caramelized Onion and Goat Cheese Tart
Ingredients:

1 sheet of frozen puff pastry, thawed
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup goat cheese, crumbled
2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme (optional)
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the thawed puff pastry to a 12-inch square. Place the pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the sliced onions, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden brown and caramelized, about 20-25 minutes.

Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges. Crumble the goat cheese over the onions.
Fold the edges of the pastry up and over the filling, pinching the corners to seal. Sprinkle the thyme over the top.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.

Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Some thoughts and a recent reconnection to someone special has led me to a decision.

You... are truly special. You're funny, you're sarcastic, and, well, you're a bit of a brat, which I'm sure you already know. And although your actions do irk me sometimes... Maybe even a lot... You are often the highlight of my day.

And with that, I think I can finally call you (and by extension BM) my friends.

That family is perfect inspiration for a comedy. And yeah, all of that snark was well-deserved. Burning your house down and then defending your chubby mother is perfect villain material. The real world is much weirder and funnier than anything any author can cook up
