Because I didnt see it as a tag that would be used more than a few times. When I decide whether or not to remove a tag, the first thing that goes through my mind is "Will anybody else ever use this?" if the answer is no, the tag goes away.

What are you hunting? If you only have 2 hours of screen time a day, I would recommend doing shorter hunts like SOSing (could require you to leave your 3DS on overnight) or non-legendaries from wormholes, rather than full odds, or even full charm odds. There’s no shame in giving up or postponing a really tough hunt and going to something easier, especially if you’re new to shinyhunting.
However, the Shiny Charm does stack with other methods, so if you want to get the charm, trading communities like www.reddit.com/r/PokemonTrades can be helpful for completing the Pokédex; often, people are willing to do tradebacks there for only a small price or free. If you’re having trouble attracting people, offering a bottlecap, rare Pokeball, or version-exclusive UB is often enough to entice several tradebacks.
But if you don’t have the time/drive to get the Shiny Charm, just regular SOS chaining already raises the chances pretty high after a while, and using a Pokémon with Harvest, Skill Swap and Trick/Bestow makes it so that you can infinitely chain a Pokémon; I could trade you one, if you need to. Or you can do wormhole shinies.
