Why water pulse? It is outclassed by scald and surf.
You also need to include your nature.

If you have a Slowbro cursed with an Adamant nature like I do...

Slowbro @ Zoom Lens
Ability: Regenerator / Oblivious / Own Tempo
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Curse
- Aqua Tail
- Zen Headbutt
- Slack Off / Drain Punch

Works great with or without Trick Room support!

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 184 HP / 96 Def / 228 SpA
Bold Nature
- Yawn
- Dream Eater
- Nightmare
- Protect / Slack Off

So, the idea of this set is to put your opponent to sleep and stall them out. You first go with Yawn, then use Protect. Slack Off also is an option, but I don't prefer it since Slowbro already gets enough recovery with Dream Eater, Leftovers and its ability Regenerator. After your enemy is put to sleep, use Nightmare, which takes 1/4 of your targets max HP each turn. Dream Eater is strong STAB on sleeping target, and also good recovery.

Trick Room Belly Drum Set

Slowbro @ Slowbronite / Weakness Policy
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature

- Zen Headbutt

  • Belly Drum- + 6 Attack trick Room is really trolly and obliterates everything.
  • Earthquake- Covers Electric weakness and good power.
  • Aqua Tail / Ice Punch- Aqua Tail is STAB and Ice Punch coverage against Grass.
  • Zen Headbutt- One of the only physical Psychic moves which gives STAB.

Slowbro-Mega @ Slowbronite
Ability: Shell Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Iron Defense
- Scald
- Slack Off
immense defense lets it setup with calm mind and iron defense, and slack off lets it heal while doing so. at +6 for both it becomes extremely powerful. (And don't judge I like these kinds of sets where you can get a calm mind/bulk up and iron defense/amnesia on the same Pokemon)

by
wouldn't stored power be better than scald?
It would be walled by dark. and while yes it would be walled by water absorb, its not extremly common

Gen 8 SWSH Monotype (Psychic)

Slowbro @ Kasib Berry / Colbur Berry / Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Foul Play / Body Press / Ice Beam
- Slack Off
- Teleport

Basically the FuturePort set, but without Future Sight. Psychic mono in SWSH Monotype runs the weakness reducing berries to help with matchups against Ghost- and Dark-types. Slowbro is one of the Pokemon who can use a weakness reducing berry to deal with certain Pokemon. Scald is Water STAB that is used for the 30% burn chance to threaten physical wallbreakers. Slack Off lets you heal off damage. Teleport is used to help generate momentum for the team since it allows you to bring in a teammate safely. Foul Play is used along with Kasib Berry so you can survive a Phantom Force Dragapult should it get to +2 Attack so you can OHKO it with Foul Play. Foul Play also OHKOes Dragapult after it gets off 1 Dragon Dance, which is nice. Body Press is used alongside Colbur Berry so you can OHKO Bisharp with Body Press, with Colbur Berry letting you act as an emergency check should Bisharp get to +2 attack. Rocky Helmet can be used instead to punish physical wallbreakers by forcing them to take chip damage, and is used with Ice Beam, which lets you deal super effective damage to Dragon-types such as Garchomp and Dragonite.

Galarian Slowking forms a really good defensive core alongside Slowbro, as they both have Regenerator and good bulk. Wallbreakers like Victini, Latios, and Tapu Lele appreciate the momentum from Teleport so they can come in safely. Choice Scarf Latias provides Defog support for the team, which Slowbro appreciates so it doesn't have to worry about entry hazards. Entry hazard setters like Jirachi and Mew are useful to help wear down opposing Pokemon with Stealth Rock and Spikes to punish them for switching out.

Some calcs with and without the weakness reducing berries:

VS Bisharp:
Without Colbur Berry:

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 595-702 (151 - 178.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO

With Colbur Berry:

+2 252+ Atk Life Orb Bisharp Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Colbur Berry Slowbro: 298-351 (75.6 - 89%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

VS Dragapult

+2 Phantom Force without Kasib Berry:

+2 252+ Atk Dragapult Phantom Force vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowbro: 410-486 (104 - 123.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO

With Kasib Berry:

+2 252+ Atk Dragapult Phantom Force vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Kasib Berry Slowbro: 205-243 (52 - 61.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

So, yeah. Kasib / Colbur Berry Slowbro is a cool tech on Psychic-type teams to deal with some troublesome Pokemon like Dragon Dance Dragapult and Bisharp. Have fun using this set if you use it!

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Impish Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Teleport
- Dig
- Calm Mind
- Scald

You want one of the bulkiest Pokemon there are? Well, why not make it INVINCIBLE? It's low speed IVs make it one of the slowest Pokemon ever. But, if you use Teleport, you will get hit, then switch out, triggering your Regenerator ability. If you slap Leftovers on it, you got constant healing. Plus, if you are scared, use dig, and your leftovers will heal a bit of your HP for you. Also, if you know that your opponent is going to switch, or you know they wont do a lot of damage, use Calm Mind to make yourself just that little bit tankier. You can also use Scald to get a quick burn off, then use Teleport into another Pokemon, and get a third of your health back! This set is also Pokemon Showdown friendly! No illegal moves or items here! Enjoy!

It’s generally better to max out your HP before making out defenders on defensive pokemon.

Gen 9, Tera Raid setup attacker

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Oblivious
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA
IVs: 0 Atk
Modest Nature
- Chilling Water
- Iron Defense
- Nasty Plot
- Stored Power

Standard setup attacker for Tera Raids vs physical attack raid bosses. This build first rose to prominence during the Cinderace the Unrivaled 7-star raid event.

First, do Chilling Water until the raid boss resets your stat increases (which you shouldn't have any yet) or after 3 turns, whichever comes first. Then, do Iron Defense 1-3 times. Then, do Nasty Plot 1-3 times. Finally, terastallize and do Stored Power until victory.

Don't hesitate to use a "Heal Up!" cheer if you are getting low on health. This is even more important when the raid boss has a boosted chance of crit (e.g. Greninja the Unrivaled used Night Slash during its 7-star raid event).

Gen 9 NU Calm Mind

Slowbro @ Leftovers / Covert Cloak
Ability: Regenerator
Tera Type: Poison
EVs: 248 HP / 176 Def / 84 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Psychic Noise
- Slack Off

A Calm Mind set Slowbro can use in Gen 9 NU. Calm Mind boosting Slowbro's Special Attack and Special Defense allow it to take special hits more comfortably while having a more offensive presence. Scald is used for the Water STAB since it has a 30% burn chance, allowing Slowbro to cripple physical wallbreakers such as Lycanroc-Dusk, Mienshao, Flygon, and Gallade. Psychic Noise is used for the Psychic STAB since it allows Slowbro to prevent opposing Pokemon from recovering HP for 2 turns. Slack Off is used to give Slowbro a reliable source of HP recovery to let Slowbro stay alive longer. Leftovers is used to give Slowbro a little HP recovery each turn. Covert Cloak can be used so Slowbro can be a Scald switch in, which is useful against opposing Slowbro. Regenerator is used for the Ability to let Slowbro recover HP every time it switches out.

84 Speed EVs allow Slowbro to outspeed Rhyperior as well as other slow Pokemon such as Copperajah, Reuniclus, and Quagsire. 248 HP EVs are used for bulk and is used to let Slowbro maximize its use of Regenerator since it puts Slowbro's HP at 393. The rest of the EVs are used in Defense with a Bold Nature to help take physical hits.

Usually, Slowbro uses Tera Fairy. However, Slowbro then becomes weak to Poison moves. This set uses Tera Poison instead. With Tera Poison, Slowbro resists Poison and becomes immune to Toxic, allowing it to blank Pokemon such as Vileplume and Alolan Muk. Tera Poison also lets Slowbro still resist Fighting moves, which is nice.

Ok. Slowbro.

Slowbro SlowbroSlowbro

Here is the moveset I used for Pokémon Red:

Slowbro
Ability: No Ability
- Psychic
- Headbutt
- Confusion / Surf
- Water Gun / Disable / Surf

Psychic is always awesome to have, as it rarely misses and does 90 base damage. Headbutt does 70 Damage, Confusion does 50. If this is your primary water type, teach Surf in place of Confusion or Water Gun. Water Gun is learned a bit late at level 33 and does 40 Damage. You can keep Disable if you want, it can be a bit of a gamble, but it is still hilarious when you are in a battle with a friend and you disable one of their best, most problematic moves! Never gets old!

Should this be hidden?
No. This contains as many details as possible for a Gen 1 set.
Confusion? WATER GUN? Why are you specifying the levels the moves on your set are learned, this is for competitive, right?
