Pokémon Direct announced for tomorrow
General News — 26 February, 2019
A new Pokémon Direct has been announced! It will air tomorrow, Wednesday February 27th and will feature 7 minutes of new information about Pokémon.

Since we know a brand new game is coming to Nintendo Switch this year, the Direct will almost certainly be about the new Generation 8, though it may also feature other games or media (TCG, Anime, etc). The exact times are:
- 6am PT
- 9am ET
- 2pm GMT (UK)
- 3pm CET (Europe)
- 11pm JST
- 1am (28th) ACT (Australia)
We will of course have all the details on the site as soon as they're revealed!
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee released!
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 15 November, 2018
The latest Pokémon games, Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, are starting to be released in the eShop, in Australia and the far east. They are somewhat different to traditional games but still contain many of the features that makes it a core Pokémon experience, and retain the fun charm of all previous games.
I've been busy adding information to the site so it's ready to assist your playthrough! Of course, everything is still a work in progress, we'll keep adding details as we discover them.

New trailer for Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee featuring Elite Four
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 07 November, 2018
A new trailer has been released for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee which features the Elite Four and other notable characters returning.
The latter gym leaders are shown, including Giovani, followed by the Elite Four. Then it's revealed that Gary/Blue and Ash/Red from the original games will feature, as well as Leaf/Green.
Meltan evolution Melmetal revealed
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 24 October, 2018
The secret of Meltan hinted at a few weeks ago has been revealed! A new Pokémon video has been released, the final in the Two Professors
series. In this video, as Willow is showing Oak the Meltan he's collected, they combine and evolve into a new Pokémon, Melmetal.
The official site also reveals that Melmetal has a new and exclusive move, Double Iron Bash, which hits twice and may cause the opponent to flinch.
Official trailer for Master Trainers
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 18 October, 2018
Following the media reports of Master Trainers earlier this week, an official video has been released showing off the feature:
It confirms that each trainer has one Pokémon, and you must challenge them with the same Pokémon (for example use Lapras against the Lapras Master Trainer). No items are allowed to be used. The Pokémon will have unexpected attacks, for example moves that are super-effective against the same Pokémon, like Pinsir using Rock Slide.
Master Trainers revealed for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 16 October, 2018
Junichi Masuda, director of Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee, has conducted several interviews with gaming blogs including Polygon and Eurogamer about the new games.
He revealed a new post-game feature known as Master Trainers
where players challenge difficult trainers scattered across Kanto, who specialise in a certain Pokémon. If you beat them you earn the title such as Psyduck Master
for beating a Psyduck trainer. Every one of the 151 Kanto Pokémon have their own Master Trainer. We'll bring you more details when we get them.

Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 10 October, 2018
A second video in The Two Professors
series has been released. Professor Oak informs Willow about a Mystery Box that is key to encountering Meltan.
It has been confirmed that both Pokémon GO and Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee are required for capturing Meltan. The first time a Pokémon is sent from GO to Let's Go, the player will receive the Mystery Box. When the box is opened in Pokémon GO, Meltan will begin appearing and can be caught like other Pokémon. Then it can be sent back to Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee.
Zeraora distributions announced
Pokémon Events — 02 October, 2018
The mythical Pokémon Zeraora will soon be available in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. An announcement video for the USA has been released:
Zeraora is level 50 and has the moves Plasma Fists, Thunder Punch, Close Combat, and Thunder. It also holds Air Balloon. Distribution details below.
New mythical Pokémon Meltan revealed
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 25 September, 2018
The mystery Pokémon that has been appearing in Pokémon GO has been officially revealed as Meltan. In the video below, Willow from Pokémon Go calls Professor Oak and reports that Ditto have been turning into a new Pokémon. Oak remembers the Pokémon from an ancient text.
The official site has also confirmed details of Meltan. It's Steel type and known as the Hex Nut Pokémon.
Mystery Pokémon appearing in Pokémon GO
Pokémon GO — 23 September, 2018
A brand new Pokémon has started appearing in Pokémon GO. It was originally spotted in the network data, and then began appearing in the game. When caught, the Pokémon turns into Ditto. Here is a picture of it:

Niantic, the company that makes Pokémon GO, has suggested this is an intentional reveal and not a mistake.
GO Park and Legendary battles detailed for Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 19 September, 2018
A new video has been released showing more features from Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee.
Kanto Pokémon can be imported from Pokemon GO to GO Park in LGPE. Candies can be earned via a minigame after importing 25 of the same Pokémon; these Candies increase certain stats.
Legendary Pokémon like Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres can be battled, however rather than just reducing HP they must be defeated in order to be caught.
'Secret Techniques' and new moves revealed for Pokemon Let's Go
Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee — 10 September, 2018
A new trailer for Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee has been released today. It features Secret Techniques
which allow a Pokémon to surf on water or cut down trees - in other words, those previously done by HMs.
The trailer also shows Celadon City and the gym leader Erika, then Partner Powers
that Pikachu and Eevee can use, plus some brand new moves available in Let's Go:
- Pika Papow - Pikachu's Partner Power.
- Veevee Volley - Eevee's Partner Power.
- Splishy Splash - a Surf-like move used by Pikachu.
- Bouncy Bubble - a Water move used by Eevee.
- Buzzy Buzz - an Electric move used by Eevee.
- Sizzly Slide - a Fire move used by Eevee.
