Effects
If it hits, Guillotine is guaranteed to make the opponent faint. Its accuracy increases if the user is a higher level than the target Pokémon, but fails if the target is higher level.
Its accuracy (as a percentage) is calculated as below, ignoring all other accuracy and evasion modifiers:
30 + UserLevel - TargetLevel
This means that if the user and target Pokémon are the same level, Guillotine has 30% accuracy.
Changes
- In Generation 1, Guillotine has 30% accuracy.
- In Generation 1, the move can hit Pokémon of any level, but does not affect Pokémon with a higher Speed than the user.
Z-Move effects
When a Pokémon is holding Normalium Z and uses its Z-Power, Guillotine turns into Breakneck Blitz and has base power 180.
