How does Return work with PokeShift pokemon?

I'm wondering since I would like to shift some pokemon who have return and I would like to know if shifting pokemon varies with Returns' damage. Also I'm shifting pokemon from pearl to White.

Their Happiness resets, and thus Returns power goes back down.

So I would have to regain they're happiness. Any quick way to get to its maximum? I'm about to send a 95 Tauros so I have a slight problem.
