If I soft reset will the daily safari pokemon change?

Let's say this happens.
"Oh yay! Skorupi is fialnally in the Safari Zone!" Then BOOM!! Random soft reset.
Let's say we saved right before looking at the daily Pokemon.
Would it still be Skorupi or something else?

It WILL change. Just tried it with my friend's Platinum.

I looked through the binoculars but I didn't see any of the daily Pokemon. Do they also change when you turn the system out.

The binoculars don't show the special Pokemon, I think. You actually need to go to the Great Marsh and search inside. Also, I don't think that Skorupi is a special Pokemon, but I could be wrong.
