What level can a Pokemon be before it doesn't obey me?

In Violet, my friend found a Shiny 4IV(I think) Umbreon that he wants to trade give to me. I beat Arven & Nemona and on my way to beat Penny, and my highest level Pokemon is a level 70 Garchomp, but I think the Umbreon is about that level. Will it obey me?

In Scarlet and Violet, obedience is based on how many Badges the player has. As you've beaten Nemona, you have all eight Badges, meaning any Pokemon will obey you regardless of level. You'll be perfectly fine to use that Umbreon.
