There's only one Snorlax in the game, and at level 50...

Source

I'm pretty sure you've lost your opportunity to catch it in that particular save, as there is only 1 Snorlax in the game. Unfortunately, you'll need to either trade for it or start over, assuming this is OG Silver and not Soul Silver.

This might be correct, but what is your source?

This is the only Snorlax in the game, so be careful to catch it (not K.O. it) if you want to complete your Pokedex.

Other answer didn’t have a source. I was contemplating just editing a source and quote in, but that felt strange :P so here

Editing an answer for a source, if it agrees with the answer, is totally fine. It improves the quality of an answer, and unless you're not interfering with what the answerer wants to convey it's fine.
I know Cristal, I’m kind of staff and all :P I think I know the rules

I thought it would interfere since the other answer uses a lot of “Im pretty sure” and “I”. Didn’t seem right to add a source to an uncredited opinion
I don't think there should be another answer to this instead of directly editing to include a source in the BA.  While it could be like a guess, the part about only 1 Snorlax in the game is not sounding like an opinion, and you could just remove the "I'm pretty sure" part and add a source.
I thought otherwise, which is why I posted another answer. You’re free to disagree, but that won’t change my mind.  I didn’t do this for points, but rather for my own view of site quality.

It didn’t make sense to have such a half-assed answer be the only answer on such an easy question, especially if it was just going to be majorly edited.
This answer is fine imo -- if it wasn't, a devil's advocate could make the case that *every* bad answer should be edited instead of someone answering themself. That's obviously not the case.
I apologize for not citing a source; I will be more forthcoming with them in the future.
