PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I know that each game'spokedex is slightly different, but the anime goes by region, so which pokedex does each anime use, or does it make all the pokedex entries up entirely in the anime?

For example, in case I'm phrasing it wierdly: In the Diamond and Pearl anime, does it use the Diamond pokedex, or the Pearl pokedex?(For when it reads off a pokedex entry when they see/catch a Pokemon.)

Can anyone answer this, or is it too complex/giaganic of a question?
I think I might be able to answer this later.

The anime's Pokédex takes parts of the games' Pokédexes to make up their own. I haven't checked all the anime entries, but I have checked about 3-4 from each region and they would (for example) take parts of the Diamond Pokédex and Pearl Pokédex to make a new Pokédex entry.

For example, Diamond Pokédex for Piplup: [Because it is very proud, it hates accepting food from people. Its thick down guards it from cold.]
Pearl Pokédex for Piplup: [It lives along shores in northern countries. A skilled swimmer, it dives for over 10 minutes to hunt.]
Anime Pokédex for Piplup: [Piplup, the Penguin Pokémon. Piplup is a proud Pokémon and an excellent swimmer, and it has a layer of down that keeps out the cold.]

I hope that helped. I researched most of this on the Bulbapedia.

Edit: This is not only for DP. Scorbunny's Pokédex entry has parts of Sword and Shield.

How does this mean they took parts from the D/P Pokedex? The only Pokemon you gave an example of this was with a Pokenon introduced in D/P. What about Pokedex entries before D/P came out? What about Pokedex entries of Pokemon that were introduced after D/P.
Also it's only 1 Pokémon. Others?
I'm grounded though so I can't do more.
Also, please do more, like HT suggested.
