If you have a good competitive moveset for Marshadow, post an answer below and upvote the best ones. Movesets for its pre-evolutions, if any, can also be shared on this thread.

Be sure to include full set details in your post, e.g. items, abilities, natures and EVs. Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated. Access the full list of guidelines here.

I soft resetted for a jolly one in my game. I've been testing this set in showdown and I believe this strategy is brilliant.

I'm going to name this set:

TableTurner

Marshadow @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spectral Thief
- Force Palm
- Shadow Sneak
- Poison Jab / Rock Tomb

  • Spectral Thief (Steals buffs and signature move obvious choice)
  • Force Palm (STAB, Technician boost, 30% paralysis chance)
  • Shadow Sneak (priority, STAB, Technician boost reliable OHKO)
  • Poison Jab/Rock Tomb (coverage, poison jab for pesky fairies and 5 more accuracy + 30% poison chance. Rock Tomb for more power from technician boost, flying coverage and speed stage decrease)

Focus sash can save you from a complete sweep of your team. You can stop a sweeper with buffs by stealing them and using the buffs against them and you don't have to worry really about other priority moves as extreme speed has no effect on you and if you are worried you can just use shadow sneak to move first and one shot them before they can mess you up.

A great set overall and much more reliable than these other sets.

Marshadow @ Focus sash
Ability: Technician
EV: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spectral thief
- Shadow sneak
- Drain Punch
- Swagger

Usage:
Honestly Marshadow is very unique. It can be used to stop a sweep easily and it can also use the opponents stats to sweep. If someone is stacking up stat boost moves like dragon dance or swords dance it could be very useful. The reason it has a focus sash is because if ur getting sweeped you can send out marshadow so that it can survive the hit and then spectral thief it. Other than that you could use swagger to confuse and increase the foe's attack and then use spectral thief on it. Drain punch is good because after the focus sash usage or after using swagger(the foe might hit even if its confused) it can regain hp. Shadow sneak is a good priority move with 90 base power thanks to technician ability. Hope it helps!

Why not close combat since your sashed.
I agree with SSWD. (I think he means "sashed")

Gen 8 FESM (Aka Focus Sash Endeavor Shadow Sneak Marshadow)
Marshadow @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Poltergeist / Spectral Thief
- Shadow Sneak
- Endeavor

Close Combat is STAB, Poltergeist is STAB, but you could use Spectral Thief for more reliability or for stealing stat boosts. The main course is Shadow Sneak+Endeavor. You get hit hard go down to 1 HP, use Endeavor, and Shadow Sneak, which is FEAR. This set actually sees use on HO teams, believe it or not.
