How do I change my diggersby's name? the critic won't let me change it?

i traded a diggersby and I'm trying to change its name but the name critic won't let me change it because he says the name is "impeccable" someone please help me out

Traded Pokemon cannot be renamed, unless you trade it back to that person and HE renames it.

Ikr, although I see where they are coming from (respect for the original trainer's choice) I feel it should have been optional ;(

You cannot change the name of a Pokemon that's been traded to you (a Pokemon that doesnt have your OT) You have to catch it yourself so it will have your OT and thats how it can be nicknamed.
