If Smeargle uses sketch on a pokemon that just used metronome which will it sketch?

It will sketch the move that Metronome uses. So if they use Metronome which turns into Flamethrower, Sketch will copy Flamethrower.

However it is possible to copy Metronome if for some reason it's used but doesn't activate, e.g. the pokemon is asleep, confused or paralysed.

Since Sketch permanently copies moves, will Sketch do so, if recieved though metronome? Would be awesome.
