Can you keep on breeding egg moves?

Lets say I wanna get a move on a Pokemon but the Pokemon that can learn the move isn't in its egg group, but there's another Pokemon that can also learn it via breeding and its in the same group. Can I pass down the move?

Yeah, this is a method called chain breeding.
